Recently on display at Fortnum & Mason in Central London as part of Trove in association with The Goldsmith's Centre.
This pendant plays on the naturally occurring colour change in these unique gemstones, by tracing the change from pink to green through a segmented halo of pink and green tourmaline pave.
This pendant is the largest I have made so far. Once I found the stone I knew it would be perfect as a hero pendant because the pink and green colours in the centre stone create a perfect harmony which could be easily paired with other gold pendants in a stack.
Details:
Materials: Watermelon tourmaline centre stone, surrounded by tourmaline pave stones and set in 14ct yellow gold.
Measurements: Centre stone measures: 10.3mm x 5.2mm, set pendant section measures 14.7mm x 9.7mm. Chain is 18" with a jump ring at 16".
